Program Outcomes

Graduates of the Drafting program will be able to do the following:

• Mechanical Drafting: Create detail and assembly drawings including parts list using AutoCAD.
• Architectural Drafting & Design: Produce a complete set of residential plans including site-plan, perspectives and elevations using Architectural Desktop.
• Computer Aided Drafting (CAD): Create 2 dimensional layouts from 3-dimenional models.
• Civil Design: Create a site plan including legal description and topography.
• Technical Writing: Create documentation that fully describes the form fit and function of a given assembly.
• 3-D Solid Modeling: Create 3 dimensional models and flat patterns of sheet metal parts using AutoDesk Inventor
• Structural Detailing: Create a full set of commercial plans with foundation, roof drainage, and wall details.
