The Special Needs Office of RTC offers assistance to individuals with
disabilities when choosing educational and vocational goals, building
self-esteem and increasing their occupational potential. We offer a wide range
of support services and accommodations which increases the potential of
individuals with exceptional education needs to successfully complete Associate
Degree and Technical Certificate programs. Every effort is made to individually
and appropriately serve students to enable them to attain success and reach
their goals.
Approximately 10-15% of the population at RTC are individuals with exceptional
education needs that require special services. RTC's Special Needs Office
serves about 160 students per year.
Our staff is made up of three individuals who provide a wide range of support
services and accommodations.
