Drafting has evolved from a profession based on paper and pencil to one that relies on computers and advanced design software to produce detailed plans and blueprints. This program prepares students to work with these tools to create technical drawings and other production documents. The program is also suitable for people with some Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) experience who want to upgrade their skills. Courses emphasize hands-on training and use the latest version of AutoCAD software.
