Student Success Council

Statement of Purpose

The Student Success Council is a recommending body to the President’s Executive Cabinet. The council’s purpose is to promote student retention and completion, and promote continuous improvement of a positive student experience. The Council will review and assess policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Scope of Work / Charter

1. Develop an annual plan and provide oversight to achieving its objectives.
2. Review college-wide student success-related policies and procedures, and make recommendations for modification and/or development, to include initiating Action Teams and Committees to further this work.
3. Support the ongoing implementation of Guided Pathways.
4. Ensure alignment with the College’s Strategic Equity Plan.
