Be-Asia’s journey shows the real impact of donor support.
After nearly two decades away, she returned to our campus to begin a new chapter, and scholarships made it possible. Her story reflects how access, affordability, and community open doors for students at every stage of life. When we invest in learners like Be-Asia, we strengthen families, careers, and our region’s future.

Dennis’ story shows how your support can open a path forward.
Juggling work and school isn’t easy, but an RTC Foundation Future 751 Machinist &
Aerospace Workers Scholarship helped him stay enrolled, reduce stress, and keep moving
toward a machining career he’s proud of. With the guidance of dedicated faculty and
the encouragement of our community, Dennis is already working in the field and planning
his next steps: all made possible through the generosity of donors who believe in
students like him.
“As a working student, there’s a life aspect that has to be incorporated,” he said. “Having a scholarship to cover tuition helps me have less stress, not only financially but also mentally.”

Shelsy’s path into welding shows how a single scholarship can change what feels possible
With the new Career Launch Scholarship behind her, she’s able to focus on learning,
building confidence in the lab, and stepping into a career she’s excited about—without
worrying about how to cover tuition or tools. Her story reflects exactly what donor
support makes possible for young people in our community.
“This scholarship made all the difference,” shared Shelsy, “I live independently and work part-time to pay my bills. I am grateful that I don’t have to worry about how I will pay for my tuition and tools.”

can access the new Career Launch Scholarship, and a record number of students received

“Everything changed when I started the machining apprenticeship program. That’s when I got excited about learning and that is why career growth and access to education is a top priority through Rottler Manufacturing’s partnership with the RTC Foundation.”

Over the past decade, the Rottler family has provided over $171,000 in scholarships to machining, mechatronics, and welding students.
But their investments don’t stop there. Rottler hires RTC graduates, and employees serve on advisory boards at the college.
It is the best of what a relationship-partner can achieve together.
In honor of the family’s philanthropic initiatives around education, building life skills through outdoor experiences and opening doors to great careers, it is a privilege to recognize Rottler Manufacturing as the 2025 Partner Generosity Spotlight Award.
