Renton Technical College provides emergency and mass notification for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. If you have an RTC email address you will automatically receive email alerts from Alert@rtc.edu. In addition to email alerts for the campus community, anyone can download the Alertus Recipient Application from the Itunes or Google Play store to start receiving push notification alerts on a smart phone.

For your safety and the safety of the campus we strongly encourage all faculty, staff, students, and visitors to download the Alertus Recipient Application in order to receive important emergency alerts including school delay or closure information. In order to receive push notification alerts, visit the iTunes App store or Google Play Store and click on the yellow “Recipient” Application to download.

  • Enter the organization code “RTCEDU
  • Register with your email address and PIN: 1942
  • Confirm your registration by clicking on the link from noreply@mobile.alertus.com
  • In the application, click “email verified” and you will start receiving emergency alert notifications from RTC.
