A Facility Modification or Repurposing Request is intended for those circumstances in which a modification is being requested of campus facilities or grounds, or the space is being repurposed. 

The following considerations need to be made: 

  • Impact on existing users of the space
  • Current and future scheduling of activities utilizing the space
  • Impact of reclassification of the space (instructional to office, etc.)
  • Impact on technology and other types of resources within the space
  • Cost to modify or repurpose the space and budget account that will incur the cost 
  • Additional ongoing costs for maintenance and/or upkeep
