The Adult Basic Education program offers adults an opportunity to improve their reading, writing and math skills. With stronger skills in these areas, you are better prepared to enter a college program or technical training, prepare for advancement in employment, be a wise consumer, gain personal satisfaction and meet family responsibilities.
You will receive an initial assessment and then work with the instructor to develop an individualized plan of study. Instruction may include small group classes or be self-paced, and will include the use of computers for learning.
Adult Basic Education classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening at various times and locations. Online or hybrid options may be available. Classes are $25.
