CCP Programming and Partnerships
English Learning Program:
- Learning English is offered at RTC's main campus in the Renton Highlands and Downtown Renton.
- Additional locations/partnerships for ELA include:
- The Circle in Issaquah for Circle participants
- King County Library in the Renton Highlands
- Puget Sound Training Center in South Renton for PSTC clients
Additional Refugee and Immigrant Specializations:
- Specialized classes for Afghan Communities provide crucial support to refugee populations.
- Limited English Pathways (LEP) partnership with the Department of Social and Heath Services (DSHS) English language training to referred TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) participants, Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) recipients, and eligible refugees, aiding in community integration.
- Partnership with RTC’s Workforce Education department to offer English Language classes to support students in programs like BFET (Basic Food & Employment Training) and Workfirst.
- Receive Referrals from community partners to support immigrant and refugees working towards their educational goals, and refer students to organizations for wrap-around services.
Adult High School Program:
- Online and hybrid classes available at RTC's main Highlands campus and Downtown Renton.
- Evening classes for adults offered through partnerships with Kent Meridian High School and Kent School District.
- Centro Rendu partnership offers a high school diploma program in Spanish.
- RTC diploma program and/or GED in Spanish also available at the main Highlands campus.
Youth High School Completion:
- Partnership with Issaquah School District and Echo Glen detention facility offers GED preparation courses and dual-credit options.
- King County YouthSource partnership in Tukwila and on the Highlands Campus provides comprehensive education, case management and employment opportunities.
- GED in Spanish available.
Bridge/College Preparation
- Courses designed to prepare students for college-level academic and career training programs.

College and Career Pathways is always interested in partnering with organizations that share our values. We are largely state-funded and may be available to partner at no cost. Otherwise, our standard operating cost is $130 per instructional hour for credited/graded classes and $100 for non-credited. Please contact Ali Cohen at acohen@rtc.edu for more information.
