Book and Equipment Grant Application - BES Grant applications now open
Students can receive a total of two (2) Book and Equipment Grants.
2024-2025 Grant Schedule: The Foundation will accept completed applications beginning the week prior to the start of quarter. Applications will close two weeks prior to the end of the quarter (unless closed due to depleted funds).
- Summer 2024: 7/8/2024 – 8/1/2024
- Fall 2024: 9/3/2024 – 11/19/2024
- Winter 2025: 12/23/2024 – 3/10/2025
- Spring 2025: 3/24/2025 – 6/10/2025
Purpose: To help cover the cost of books, fees, and equipment for current students in college degree or certification programs, who have completed at least ONE quarter of instruction at RTC. Please allow 1‐2 business days to process requests.
Grant Details: The maximum amount that can be awarded is $500 per student, during a school year. You can apply for a total of two (2) Book & Equipment Grants. If you request funds that are less than $500, you may make additional support requests in upcoming quarters until you reach $500. Laptops can be purchased through the RTC Bookstore, only after Required Course Materials have been purchased first.
Steps to complete:
- Complete the application. Only completed applications will be considered.
- You need to list a current instructor or advisor as a reference.
- Provide a copy of your Class Schedule.
- Provide a copy of Required Course Materials confirming the costs of items you are requesting.
- The Foundation cannot reimburse you for past purchases.
Special Massage Therapy Grant - Deadline typically around April 30th each year
Purpose: Provides up to $500 to cover the cost of a massage license and required testing for third quarter Massage
Therapy students scheduled to graduate. Please reach out to foundation@rtc.edu for

The RTC Foundation no longer offers the Life Essentials (LE) Grant.
Funding raised by the RTC Foundation for emergency grant purposes will now be disbursed by Financial Aid via the Student Emergency Assistance Grant (SEAG).
