Career Fairs
RTC Career Services hosts various in-person and virtual career fairs throughout the year, with registration fees that support student success initiatives. The revenue generated from these events funds:
- Student scholarships
- Our campus food pantry
- Other student-centered resources
The Spring Career Fair will be held on May 20 and 21 at Renton Technical College. Registration will be available in March. For questions or more information, contact Lisa Sandoval, LRCC Director, at lsandoval@rtc.edu.
Employer of the Week
The Employer of the Week program is a great opportunity for local companies to connect with RTC students. The program allows employers to share information about their business, hiring processes, and job openings with students. Here are the details:
- Presentation Details: Employers are invited to present at RTC's Cafeteria during lunch hours every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Scheduling: Please email Lisa Sandoval at lsandoval@rtc.edu if interested in hosting a table for Employer of the Week.
Logistics
- A table and two chairs will be provided.
- Event venue: RTC Cafeteria, Building I
- Directions: 3000 NE 4th ST. Renton, WA 98056
- Parking: visitor parking is available in front of the Building I
- Employers are suggested to bring:
- Tablecloth
- Job opening descriptions
- Giveaways to promote their company
This program provides a great platform for employers to connect with potential candidates and for students to learn about job opportunities and network with employers.
