Transfer Advising & Planning
Before Getting Your Official Transfer Credit Evaluation
While you wait for your credits to transfer (evaluation will take 4-6 weeks after your official transcript is received), you can plan your classes by meeting with an academic adviser or reviewing the RTC transfer equivalency guides. Advisers can give an unofficial review to help you plan & determine if you’re eligible to waive COL 101 College Success , but cannot guarantee that a class will transfer to RTC or that it is equivalent to a course RTC offers. You'll get a final decision on whether a class will transfer by submitting an official transcript through the transfer evaluation process.
After Your Transfer Credit Evaluation is Complete
Meet with your program adviser & check the Academic Progress report in your student ctcLink account to see how your transfer credit will apply toward your certificate or degree.
Have questions or concerns about your transfer credit evaluation? Please email transcripts@rtc.edu to clarify your credit evaluation with our credential evaluators.
