Next Generation (NG) Accuplacer

The Next Generation (NG) Accuplacer test is an untimed computer-based placement test that measures your skills in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The NG Accuplacer test includes reading comprehension, sentence skills, arithmetic, elementary algebra, college-level mathematics and the writing test.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) / Certiport is an industry-recognized certification program that validates skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exams are available for Microsoft Office Specialist / Certiport Certifications such as Word, EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Exam versions are through Microsoft Office Specialist - Microsoft 365 Apps

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

ASE is an independent, non-profit organization, and since 1972 have worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying repair and service professionals. Auto technicians and other professionals who want to become ASE certified can take one or more of ASE’s 40+ exams. The exams are grouped into specialties such as automobile, medium/heavy truck, truck equipment, school bus, collision repair, and more.

GED® General Educational Development

• Who is this exam for?
  • Anyone wanting to take any combination of GED exams.
  • The four GED exams required to earn a GED Certificate are Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
• Cost of the exam:
  • $36 per exam or $144 for all four exams. Registration is online.
• How do I register?

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS VII)

This 4-hour computerized test is designed to measure specific skills in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage for Nursing programs.

Exam results are immediately available once the exam is completed.

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP exams are administered year-round on a flexible schedule. Exams cost only $95 plus a $40 Renton Technical College Test Center proctoring fee.

Credentia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Exams

RTC Testing Center offers private rooms, quiet spaces, to take Credentia exams for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exams.  
If you need a private room and quiet space to take Credentia exams with Credentia remote services and need assistance with remote logins, contact the RTC Testing Center.

There is a $40 proctor fee paid to RTC Cashiering at (425) 235-2352 to reserve a private room and for remote login assistance.
