Pursuing New Grants and Developing Proposals

This site serves as a resource for faculty and staff who are looking to learn about pursuing external grant funding. The first step in any grant project idea is to meet with the Director of Grants, who can assist with conceptualization of a project, researching funding competitions, preparing Letters of Inquiry, and submitting applications. Managing Existing Grants

The Director of Grants and the Grant and Contract Coordinator can answer most of your questions about the intent of grant proposals, preparing reports for funding agencies, invoicing grantors, submitting budget revisions, requesting continuations or no-cost extensions, and communicating with program officers. We can also answer questions about the allowability of purchases and activities per grant regulations.
