Foundation raises over $100,000 for scholarships
Providing opportunities for students to succeed was the theme of the Renton Technical College Foundation’s annual fund-raising breakfast, which raised over $101,000 to support scholarships.

Resilient student finds her place at RTC
By the time she was just 13 years old, Anna White had lost both her parents to addiction. Her 22-year–old sister became her guardian, and Anna found herself on a bad path.

Single mom found success in computer science

Two students honored for their academics and service
Two top Renton Technical College students have been named to All-Washington Academic Team. Michael Greer and Ana Carolina de Souza Mendes will be recognized at a ceremony in Olympia on March 21. Gov. Jay Inslee is the keynote speaker for the event.

New dual credit math class builds bridge to college
Hazen High School senior Zack Hinesley was already making plans to attend Renton Technical College, so when he found out he could receive college credits for a high school math class, he was eager to sign up.

RTC downtown center to offer classes and serve community
Renton Technical College will open a convenient location in downtown Renton to serve students this winter. RTC Downtown will provide classes, meeting spaces, and other services to students at 232 Burnett Ave.
