Undetermined

If you are classified as Undetermined, complete one of the two forms to initiate reclassification:

  • Residency Affidavit – for students who have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have maintained a primary residence, for purposes other than postsecondary education, in Washington for at least one year prior to starting at RTC (Please refer to Affidavit of Residency Page to learn if you qualify).
  • Undetermined Residency Reclassification – If you are classified as Undetermined and do not meet the Residency Affidavit requirements, you will be asked to complete this form. You need to submit the supportive documentation as part of this process.

Out-of-State

If you are classified as Out-of-State, if you have been classified as Out-of-State and your residency status has changed OR believe the Out-of-State coding is inaccurate, complete the following application:

Tribal Affiliation

If you have a Tribal Affiliation, complete the forms below to initiate reclassification.

Application Process/How to Return the Form:

  1. Complete the form you meet the requirements for
    • If you complete the Undetermined Residency Reclassification form, you need to submit the supporting documentation
    • If you complete the Residence Questionnaire, you need to submit the supporting documentation
  2. Return the completed forms (and documentation, if required). The documents can be returned:
    1. In person at the Enrollment Services Desk in Building I or;
    2. Uploaded to Residency on ctcLink (please notify residency@rtc.edu if you upload) or;
    3. Emailed from your RTC student email to: residency@rtc.edu.

RTC recommends that documents are submitted in person at the Enrollment Services desk OR uploaded to ctcLink. Students who are uncertain of what documentation to complete, contact the Residency Officers at residency@rtc.edu.
