The “Washington 45” is an agreement between public two-year and four-year colleges in Washington state.

You can take up to 9 classes, for a total of 45 credits, to transfer as general education requirements for a bachelor degree.

You need to earn at least a 2.0 GPA in each class, and you still have to meet the admissions requirements for your desired university.

    • SOC& 101 Survey of Sociology *

    • POLS& 202 American Government *

  • Natural Sciences: choose 2

    • BIOL& 160 General Biology *

    • CHEM& 121 Introduction to Chemistry *

    • GEOL& 101 Intro to Physical Geology *

    • PHYS& 114 General Physics I

The final class can be anything on the list above that you haven’t already taken.
