Career and Technical Education Dual Credit
EARN FREE college credits while taking eligible career and technical education classes.
Renton Technical College has articulation agreements with high schools in the Puget Sound Dual Credit Career consortium. These agreements allow students to get direct RTC credit for specific skills they learned in high school.
CTE Dual Credit allows high school students to earn college credit in their high school career and technical education (CTE) classes without leaving their high school campus. CTE Dual Credit used to be called Tech Prep.
- Tuition-free.
- Located at the high school.
- Credits apply only to professional-technical certificates or degrees.
