  • Ban Against High-Pressure Recruitment Tactics: Renton Technical College strives to be an institution of high integrity and is committed to ensuring that recruitment and enrollment activities conducted at our institution promote such values in accordance with our mission. The purpose of this policy is to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations in order to prevent and eliminate fraudulent and aggressive recruitment of students (including but not limited to veterans and Military Service members) to the college.
  • RTC Programmatic Accreditation: Renton Technical College (RTC) is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation by NWCCU applies to the institution as a whole. NWCCU provides reasonable assurance about the quality of opportunities available to students who attend the institution. NWCCU is the regional authority on educational quality and institutional effectiveness of higher education institutions in the seven-state Northwest region of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. The organization fulfills its mission by establishing accreditation criteria and evaluation procedures by which institutions are reviewed. RTC’s accreditation was reaffirmed in October 2013.
